"Smart" bandage will be especially used in the treatment of obesity and diabetes patents.
Australian researchers have developed a "smart" bandage
The smart bandage signals with its colors whether wound has been healed or not.
The bandage is produced from a derivative of cholesterol which shows stages of healing with its red, green and blue colors.
That particular point perceives a temperature change less than 5 degrees and turns color into blue when wound is healed.
The smart bandage is promising for the patents with chronically wounds developed due to obesity, diabetes and old age.
