US MILITARY TESTS "PHANTOM EYE"

“Phantom Eye”, the biggest unmanned airborne system which the US military currently tests, is pushing the limits.

The unmanned aerial vehicle is planned with a capability of four days of unrefueled, autonomous flight, reaching an altitude of 19.800 meters

It’s called: “Phantom Eye” and it is the biggest drone of the US military that will be capable of four days autonomous flight.

“Phantom Eye” is planned to be capable of 96-hour unrefueled autonomous flight. The liquid-hydrogen powered aircraft was tested to reach an altitude of 19.800 meters.

The phantom Eye, with its sophisticated tracking and monitoring capabilities, will provide days-long monitoring of an area in size of a city.
