People of South Sudan celebrated the first anniversary of the independence of the country in capital Juba.
Thousands of people with flags in their hands danced in the streets.
Representatives from Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan and the African Union attended the celebrations.
East African country Sudan was separated 1 year ago into North Sudan and South Sudan.
South Sudan is still troubled because of conflicts in sharing oil and water resources. There is also the refugee crisis and hunger in the country.
