TRNC CELEBRATES 38TH ANNIVERSARY OF CYPRUS PEACE OPERATION

The 38th anniversary of July 10, 1974 Cyprus peace operation was observed in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus with ceremonies.

Deputy Prime Minister Beşir Atalay who attended ceremonies held in the capital Lefkoşa, criticized isolation and embargoes imposed on Turkish Cypriot people.

Atalay called on the EU to keep promises made to Turkish Cypriot people.

President Derviş Eroğlu of the TRNC for his part said that fight against isolation and embargoes is the first priority of the TRNC state.
