IRANIAN MINISTER IN ANKARA

Iranian Culture and Islamic Truth Minister Seyit Muhammed Hüseyni who arrived in Turkey on the occasion of the Iran Culture Days paid a visit to Turkish Radio and Television Corporation.

As the guest of TRT Deputy Director General Ahmet Koyuncu, the Iranian Minister was hosted by the TRT News channel.

He said that since his contacts yesterday, he saw relations between Turkey and Iran had been developing steadily and he was happy to be in Turkey and to see the great interest in his country's culture days. He also said that given the common aspects of the two countries, those events should be spread out to the entire year.

Koyuncu said that big strides forward had been taken in terms of infra-structure and substance in the last four years and TRT News had become the most-watched channel of Turkey.
