Demonstrators took to the streets in towns and cities across Spain.
Protests in Spain where the unemployment rate has reached 25% increased significantly after the
Parliament approved a package of 65 billion Euros of spending cuts.
Reportedly despite the measures taken the recession in Spanish economy is expected to continue last year.
