Prior to the Security Summit, Erdoğan who made a statement at the Esenboğa airport said “we don't need to get permission to enter into Qandil".
Following the Dağlıca incident that left eight soldiers dead, Erdoğan underlined Turkey would continue its struggle against terrorism with determination.
Erdoğan said the only way forward to solve this problem is that "terrorists should lay down arms".
Regarding the "operations to be conducted to Qandil" Erdoğan noted " ın a case we decide to conduct the operations we don’t need to get permission. Turkey is a NATO member. We give the response necessary directly in any case of attack against our country".
Following his statements, Prime Minister Erdoğan attended to the Security Summit held at his residence.
Fight against terrorism was high on Security Summit's agenda.
