Three political parties opting for Greece to remain anchored in the euro zone and for the conditions of the bail out package to be re-negotiated have agreed in principle to set up a coalition government.
The conservative New Democracy Party, having captured 129 seats in the 300-member parliament has garnered the support of PASOK and the Democratic Left Party.
Greek officials said the three parties are in agreement in principle for the formation of a coalition government.
A concrete step is expected to be taken later today.
