TURKEY, THE BIGGEST CONTRIBUTOR TO DEMOCRACY IN MIDEAST

A survey conducted by a US company in Muslim countries suggests Turkey is the biggest contributor to democracy in the Middle East.

According to the survey Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is the most popular leader in the region.

78% of Egyptians, 74% of Tunisians, 70% of Jordanians and 49% of Lebanese believe that Turkish government is the biggest contributor to democracy in the Middle East.

52% of Pakistani people believe Saudi Arabian government is the biggest contributor to democracy in the region.

With 65% support Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is the most popular leader in the region.

Erdoğan is followed by Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah with 58%.
