HÜRKUŞ , a basic training aircraft whose construction was launched in 2006 by the Turkish Aviation and Space Industry Inc TUSAŞ is going to be taken out of the hangar tomorrow.

The original training aircraft has been manufactured by Turkish engineers.

Designed in line with the CS 23 regulations of the European Aviation Safety Agency, the training aircraft has a configuration having a mono turboprop engine and is capable of flying day and night.

Manufactured for general use, instrument flying, air navigation and formation training stages, HÜRKUŞ is equipped, besides standart aircraft systems, with cabin pressurizing , ejection and onboard oxygen generation systems.

Turkey's first ever project of an air vehicle with all its elements having been locally prepared has been materialized by 50 engineers.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will also attend tomorrow the ceremony to be held at TUSAŞ facilities on the occasion.
